Kaban’s infant classrooms have been thoughtfully designed around the needs of your child. Our Montessori environment builds on the experiences developed in the home and encourages the child towards achieving independence. Our teachers will guide and support your child through all their stages of development including the practice of gross and fine motor control as well as self help and care skills, while prioritizing social and language development.

The infant comprehensive training program focuses on child development from birth to age three, equipping teachers to design the best possible program for your child. Infants can never have too much love, care, and affection. To ensure your child receives personalized attention, our infant program provides one adult for every three children.

Trust through consistency

Your infant is sensitive to changes in routine, so we strive to maintain consistency to help them feel safe and comfortable. Our program is offered on a five-day schedule, ensuring your child is with the same children and adults each day. Sleep and eating schedules are tailored to your child's individual needs, which are closely observed and documented to keep you informed when you return.

Part of a larger educational community

At 18 months, your child is ready for greater challenges. Our school provides a continuum of Montessori education and your child will have a seamless transition to the Toddler Program. Planned well in advance, this process is designed to make both you and your child comfortable. A meeting with the new teacher and brief classroom visits in advance of the move facilitate the transition.
