The focus of this month is on Climate Change, Earth Day and Weather. We will learn about why the Earth's climate is getting warmer and study the greenhouse effect as well as the role carbon plays in these processes.

We will read about how climate change affects the oceans and how scientists are studying climate change.

We will talk about what Earth day is, when it started, why we celebrate it and things we can do and how we can help the environment. With the older students, we will learn about the importance of sustainability renewable sources of energy.
